RETURNS DUE TO DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

While it is infrequent, accidents can occasionally occur. To provide you with peace of mind when making art purchases online, we offer an immediate replacement option in the highly unlikely event that your art is found to be defective, damaged during transit, or if you receive an incorrect item.

Upon receiving your order, we kindly request that you inspect it. If you detect any defects, damage, or if you have received the incorrect item, please contact us promptly. This will enable us to assess the issue and take appropriate corrective measures.

In the event that your item has arrived in a damaged condition, please reach out to us within 24 hours of receiving your package so that we can promptly coordinate a replacement.

We will require photographic documentation of the following:

  • The external packaging

  • The shipping label on the packaging

  • The damage to the artwork or frame

In cases where a replacement is unavailable, we will issue a credit to your store account.

If a return is deemed necessary for us to assess the item before processing your refund, we will cover the cost of return shipping. However, there may be situations where the return of the defective product is not required for us to facilitate your replacement or issue a refund or store credit.

Please be aware that if you contact us regarding damage or defects beyond 24 hours from the time of receiving your package, we cannot guarantee a replacement or refund.

CANCELLATIONS OR EXCHANGES

Fine Art Prints - Due to the made-to-order nature of our Fine Art prints, we request that you meticulously and attentively read the product descriptions. We cannot guarantee our ability to cancel or exchange your order. But, you may contact us within 30-45 minutes of placing your order at: orders@jenniferguajardoart.com

Original Artwork - All original art sales are final and therefore can not be canceled or exchanged. 

REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED ORDERS

If your cancellation is approved, you will receive an automatic refund to your original payment method within 10-15 business days. It is important to note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to process and post the refund.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

All of our Fine Art prints are meticulously crafted on a made-to-order basis, infused with attention to detail, care, and dedication to your print personally handled by the artist, themself, within the studio. Consequently, we do not maintain inventory, rendering us unable to accept returns, exchanges, or changes of mind.

Due to the high value associated with original paintings, all sales of these items are considered final, and returns are not accepted.

CANCELLATIONS OF PAYMENT PLANS

In the event that your item has been placed on hold due to a payment plan, we do not opt to cancel the payment plan, once an art piece is taken off the website as “SOLD OUT”. Other visitors, will not be able to purchase the original art, rendering it unsaleable due to loss of income by the hold. Please be advised that reasonable business costs are incurred in processing payments and securing your item as off the market. If a longer extended payment plan, and/or lower payments per week/month is feasible then readjustments may be made either through email, or phone during normal business hours.
