Meet the Artist & Founder

JENNIFER GUAJARDO

Founder Jennifer Guajardo was exploring innovative art styles, and mediums online over the summer of 2022, when she stumbled upon an opportunity for artists to participate in a ‘Black Light Art Show’, like the one she curated for her art students at the elementary school she worked at for 12 years. She entered as a way to understand the real-world curator process and the art style and an art business got its start.

About the Artwork

MISSION

Between 2022 and 2024 Jennifer Guajardo Art although known as an emerging artist, has given to organizations, such as Artist Boat, DSWF, and One Tree Planted in various ways.

In 2024, Jennifer Guajardo Fine Art officially moved toward presenting visually its efforts on giving back to the community and environment on its website with its One for One giving model partnership with One Tree Planted, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Jennifer will also continue to give back to her community with continued efforts through art donations to Artist Boat and organizations similar to DSWF.

We care deeply about the planet and creating a business that gives back to nature, wildlife, and communities. That’s why we are thrilled to share that we are partnering with One Tree Planted to plant a tree every time you purchase an original piece or an art print.

Inspiration

BEHIND THE ART

My artwork transcends the boundaries of realistic wildlife into a blazing world of abstract expressionism. The two elements play with one another in an evocative dance battle that also emotes off the canvas like a ballet dancer turned street hip-hop funk.

The depiction of the animals themselves is realistic. But the texture and colors create a depth full of vibrant layers with a suggestive portrayal of their exquisite soul.

The immersive wildlife art shares the empowering connection between the natural and spiritual world.

They invite you to let go and release the past to go beyond this world as you gaze upon their secrets.

This blend of realism and abstraction lies in the interplay between the tangible and intangible, the seen and the unseen, the natural and the spiritual. We are made of both and I wanted to create a visual bridge between the two.

The efforts to use sustainable, environment-friendly, and animal-conscious products when making high-quality art are always at the forefront of the family-owned business. She focuses on sourcing her art supplies from companies that want to lower their carbon footprint as much as she does.

She incorporates everyday household objects to adorn interesting textures onto the canvas. She uses a variety of acrylic mediums, from the heavy body to fluid and high flow.

While making every effort to be environmentally friendly, the family-run art business makes an impact with accessibility to new art collectors through a unique art business model to expand its audience toward its fine art giclée prints without compromising quality.

The point of entry, to buy an art print, is surpassed by the quality of the print itself.

Path of Impact

JOURNEY

Jennifer Guajardo created an art business from the ground up, at the beginning, of the summer of 2022. Within the final two years of her 12-year elementary art education career she managed to be in many art shows in-person and online, and win awards while instilling the love of art in young artistic minds.

The journey toward a career as an artist in the art industry has always been a dream of Jennifer’s since she was a young elementary-age girl. It is not without its trials and tribulations. Learning the business side of art and deciding which way to move her art came with many decisions.

Her passion for painting endangered and oppressed wildlife in their spiritual presence became more evident in 2023 only 5 years after being plant-based/vegan. Joining and donating art to animal conservation organizations also helped guide her style from realism to abstract realism.

The many roads she has undertaken from paying her way through college while working as a face painter at Astroworld, Houston, TX (a former location of the Six Flags company) culminated in an Associate's and Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. She graduated with honors and a high GPA all while working as a clothing sales associate, museum gift shop associate at MFAH & HMNS, photographer, and eventually as a graphic designer at a public relations firm upon graduating, to her most recent art field as an elementary art teacher, have all paved the path full circle to her first passion… An abstract realism wildlife artist who advocates for animal and environment conservation.
